This is a refreshing new take on the Groundhog Day, and I liked it a lot. It added some new concepts to explore, changed the mood as well. I feel the makers wanted to update it for the modern world and make it relatable for the younger audience. So the movie has boredom, and weirdness, and quirky fun, and wonder, and all that works! Staying away from well-trodden genres, it also feels fresh.
