I liked the original movie a lot, and still listen to its soundtrack from time to time. The sequel followed the fate of sequels, as everything felt subpar to the first movie. The plot lines were disconnected, multiple new characters didn’t get their time, constant location changes during songs caused discontinuity. We didn’t even get proper closure with the setup for the next movie. Well, at least the heart and hook were a fine touch.
