A sad story with impressive animation, but somewhat uneven in the mood. The opossum mama joking about her just-eaten baby is a fair warning right off the bat. There are great comedic episodes, and there are nice moody episodes, but also weird transitions between those. Is it trying to pack too much in a short timeframe? All in all, it is enjoyable. Like all animals in one hut.
