Rather unexpectedly this is a film about a pilgrimage. It starts as „let’s go the Camino de Santiago“ but pretty soon turns to god seeking. It is sublime and one can just watch it as a road movie. I hoped though that the protagonist would lose some weight over 800 kilometers on foot.
