This remake of a rather old movie struggles to be good. It misses something, and I can’t put a finger on it. Maybe I could not connect with the protagonist due to how the story was told. Perhaps he wasn’t exactly likable. Or it could have been his Mary-Sue abilities to kill relatives with little effort and leave barely any trace. I must say I had this impression long before the supposed twist at the end.
