The genre of the court dramas has no appeal to me, but this one is very lively in comparison. Curious story, bold characters, and nice acting. Too bad the attempt for a deeper message was muddled somehow. I guess it’s ironic that I appreciated this movie for the showmanship, while generally disliking that a jury can be swayed by showmanship.
