Big screen time for a real life story of a guy tangled in some bad connections. When he falls in love with someone outside his usual circle the circle doesn’t really approve. Everyone digging the heels in only makes it worse for everyone, but maybe there’s an escape hatch. One of those rare real life stories that seem to be made up for the movie. The acting is good, it’s the people are not too pleasant to watch.
