Kona fer í stríð (Woman at war) —  7/10

This is a very good Icelandic movie with lots of nice touches. It mixes together many things, not overdoing any of them. There are some positive country stereotypes, the story takes interesting turns, the action scenes are thrilling. It includes a few fine jokes and a running gag, plays with the fourth wall a bit, and even the political message of the film is not the one obviously sitting on the surface. Of course, it would not have worked without the alleged cousin, descendant of the stand-in husband.
