Der Vorname —  7/10

It all started with a French play. In mere six years a French movie was made, then an Italian one, and now a German one. Well, I can see why. It’s smart, and witty, and funny. The camera work is so good you barely notice the theater origin of the story. The French roots do show up a bit, I didn’t really have a feeling I was watching Germans on screen. The second part takes a turn for a less original family squabble, but it is also entertaining. However, the main takeaway is the secret of remaining relaxed while being energetic!
