A Dog’s Journey —  4/10

Looks like the target audience of the movie are the clichéd simple American farmers, showcased in the first 10 minutes. There are many basic giggles, but the whole setup of the bad mother also plays into that theory. Particularly telling is the blame assignment after the girl’s encounter with the murderous psycho: keeping one on premises is totally fine, it’s mother’s fault for not looking better after her kid.
